Installing the MetaMask extension

If you’re using VIVE Bytes in your computer’s web browser, you'll need to install the MetaMask extension so you can access your MetaMask wallet. Here’s how:

1. Go to https://metamask.io/download/ and download the MetaMask extension for your browser.
2. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the MetaMask extension.
3. When the Welcome to MetaMask webpage appears, follow the walk-through instructions to import your wallet.
4. After installing the extension and importing your wallet, check for the MetaMask button on the browser toolbar.
   

If you don't see the MetaMask button, open the Extensions menu and make the button visible. For example, in Chrome, click to open the Extensions menu, and then click  to pin the MetaMask button to the toolbar.
